Yao Mountain Cable Car and Toboggan Slide
Located on the outskirts of Guilin, Yao Mountain got its name from a Yao emperor temple, which was built, in the Tana dynasty in the top of the mountain. It boasts because of the natural beauty and the highest mountain in Guilin. There are different views in different season. Spring the mountain is full of colorful azaleas, summers has pine and bamboo to view. The mountain is covers with the red maple leaves and chrysanthemum flowers in autumn, and snow flakes covers all over the mountain in winter. The cable car was imported from Doppelmatry Cable Car Co. Austria. It is equipped with an alarm system, a TV monitor protection system. The cable is 1416.18m long from the bottom to the top. You will have a panoramic view about the whole city.
The toboggan slide, which is stimulating and interesting, was imported from WIGAND Toboggan Co. Germany. It is 100m long with 18 turns sliding down from the top. You will have a beautiful view of rocks, flowers and brooks on each side when you down the mountain with the slide.

Guilin Tour - Ling Canal
Located in Xing’an County, 66 km to the north of Guilin City, the Ling Canal is a well-known water conservancy project, with a highly skilled workmanship. It is also one of the oldest canals in China. The Ling Canal, the Great Wall and the Jujiang Dam in Sichuan Province are known as the three big constructions of the Qin Dynasty. Late Chinese scholar Mr. Guomoruo highly praised it as one of the world’s wonders.
The Ling Canal was built in the 214 BC of Qin Dynasty. It consists of a plough share, a water diversion dam, a south canal and a north canal, a spillway as well as boatlocks, the canal was scientifically designed and constructed. The plough shares just out into the Xiang River and divides the water into 30 and 70 percent. Passing through the north canal, the major part of the water joins again the Xiang River, while the rest flows into the south canal (namely the Ling Canal) and then empties itself in Li River. The Ling Canal connected the two water systems of Yangtze River and the Pear River, thus playing a great historical role in the unification of China and the consolidation of the southern frontier areas.
Today, the canal has become a place full of historical interest and scenic beauty and an appealing destination for more and more tourists.
