Day1 Chongqing - Chishui   (B, L)
You will be met and welcomed by the guide in Chongqing airport. Transfer to Chishui, Guizhou is nicknamed 'The Kingdom of Mountains', as 87% of its land is comprised of mountains and plateaus.

Day2 Chishui  (B, L)
Exploring the Sea of Bamboo & Natural Reserve of Ferns .

Day3 Chishui  (B, L)
Visit Sidonggou Waterfall , Shizhangdong Waterfall & Yanziyan Scenic spot .

Day4 Chishui - Guiyang  (B, L)
Full day drive to Guiyang..

Day5 Guiyang  (B, L)
This morning will be left for you to fresh up, visit Qianling park , Hongfu temple and Jiaxiu pavilion in the afternoon.

Day6 Guiyang - Anshun  (B, L)
Today's program highlights the remaining culture of the Old Han (Chinese) ethnic group.

The ancestors of these villagers migrated from Jiangxi Province to Guizhou Province in the Ming Dynasty. We will drive for 1.5 hours to reach Tianlong village. Women here are still dressed in traditional Ming dynasty costumes, and houses remain faithful to the Ming architectural styles. We will watch a local opera performance called Ground Opera , famed for the performers' symbolic masks. Another village visit will be arranged to Stone village , a Buyi village .

Day7 Anshun  (B, L)
One-day tour included Huangguoshu Waterfall and Tianxingqiao Scenic spot .

The Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Asia, is about 74 meters high and 81 meters wide. Hidden behind the waterfall is a 134-meter long Water-Curtain Cave with fantastic stalactites. Situated in Zhengning County, it is located in a karst area 600-1500 meters above sea level, with a rainfall of 1300 mm, the region has long been know for its scenic beauty of crisscrossing streams and alternating peaks and gorges.

Day8 Anshun - Liuzhi  (B, L)
Liuzhi is our next destination. The drive is through attractive countryside and we plan to see Miao nick-named Four Seal Miao . They have been named Four Seal as they once served the emperor and it is said that the seal was awarded to them by the emperor.

Day9 Liuzhi - Suoga - Liuzhi  (B, L)
Today, we drive through a spectacular vista of terraced fields to Suoga , famous for the Long Horn Miao Ethnic.

Long Horn Miao Ethnic still has some hemp which they traditionally use to make their clothes. However, they still batik and embroider their costumes. This village has received a grant from Norway and they now have a small museum. Here, we can see how the young girls dress their hair for the festival on a wooden support, they use their hair, as well as their mother's and their grandmother's to make a coiffure of several kilos.

Day10 Liuzhi - Shuicheng (B, L)
Coach to Nankai, Shuicheng , visit the Small Flowery Miao. These Miao wear a jacket with superb cross-stich geometrical patterning in yellows, oranges and greens. The women wear their hair piled high upon their head in a neat roll which takes a long time to arrange. It is also possible we may see Yi people in this area.

Day11 Shuicheng - Weining (B, L)
Today, we drive to Weining, a remote small town in the north-west only recently connected by a reasonable road and railway. In this area, both Miao, Yi and Muslims live. This area was once so poor that the local inhabitants had to eat buckwheat, potatoes and maize rather than rice. We plan to have a boat ride on Caohailake, femed for its Black-neck cranes.

Day12 Weining (B, L)
This area was converted to Christianity by English Missionaries and there are many churches in this area. The Miao here were converted to Christianity by the Reverend Pollard and the Reverend Harry Parsons in the 19 th and 20 th Centuries. We can visit a local church and the Big Flowery Miao village here.

Day13 Weining - Bijie (B, L)
Yi people in the past, known as Nosu , live in this area and we shall be visiting one of their villages and enjoy their ;ocal costume. There will be time to walk around the village and hopefully visit a local church which is still used on Sundays. Drive to Bijie in the afternoon, the scenery is fascinating en route, with terraced rice fields and remote villages.

Day14 Bijie (B, L)
It is a long day out to a group of Miao known as Four Village Miao because it is said they live in only four villages. Their indigo dyed skirts and jackets, with contrasting pure white decorations explains their nick-name, Magpie Miao . The women also decorate their waist ties with beautiful cross-stich embroidery. Many people in this area still wear straw raincoats.

Day15 Bijie - Dafang (B, L)
We may be able to visit two villages today on the way to Dafang . The White Miao , nicknamed because of their previous white hemp skirt, also wear a colorful pachwork jacket. It is hoped in the afternoon, w will visit a group of Miao who dress in a particularly shiny black dyed indigo jacket, known as Black Miao .

Day16 Dafang - Guiyang (B, L)
Known as " One Hundred Li Azalea belt ", this area is famed for azaleas and rhododendron which we shall see blooming in the countryside all around us. We will arrive Guiyang in the late afternoon.

Day18 Kaili - Xijiang - Maomaohe (B, L, D)
Drive from Kaili to Xijiang Township , Leishan county , explore the biggest Miao village, " One Thousand Family Miao village ". In the afternoon, we will reach Maomaohe village, which is known for its Long-Skirt Miao , a subgroup of Miao ethnic minority group. We will have dinner with local people and gain a better understanding of life and customs in their area.

Day19 Kaili - Langde - Datong - Paika (B, L)
A short drive along the Bala River will take us to the village of Langde , a real gem with traditional wooden houses and waterwheels. After lunch we will continue our journey to Datang , a Miao village with an aquatic granary and the women's " Mini skirt ". Visit the Paika village, know more about Lusheng -the Miao people's most important musical instrument.

Day20 Leishan - Taijiang - Shidong (B, L)
Pay a visit to the internationally known Shidong village in Taijiang.  Join in the annual ceremony of "Sisters' Fan Festival" .

Day21 Taijiang- Fanpai - Jianhe - Kaili (B, L)
Visit the Fanpai village, where the " Oriental Disco ", Miao's wooden drum dance was originated. We are also able to try the hot spring in Jianhe county.

Day22 Kaili - Sandu - Shiqiao - Rongjiang (B, L)
Today, we will drive from Kaili to Rongjiang via Sandu, visit the traditional way of paper making in Shiqiao. Meet and visit Shui people on the way to Rongjiang.

Day23 Rongjiang - Congjiang (B, L)
Visit Basha , a small Miao village with very little signs of modern influence for Guizhou travel.

The people rarely venture out of the village except for selling firewood and shopping for daily necessities in markets, and both men and women can be seen in traditional costumes, wearing their hair long. Yintan , a Dong village built on the top of the mountain with its beautiful landscape. The Dong can be recognized by their turbans (for men), and pleated skirts (for women). They are also known for their architecture, particularly their drum towers, and Feng yuqiao (or wind and rain bridges), which are pavilions for sheltering people during bad weather.

Day24 Congjiang - Zhaoxing (B, L)
A 2-hour drive will take us to Zhaoxing, one of the largest Dong villages in the region, with more than 700 households and a population of 4000. We may see the drum tower in Gaozeng and roofed bridge in Longtu.

Day25 Zhaoxing - Sanjiang (B, L)
From Zhaoxing we will continue our journey for Guizhou travel south into Guangxi Province, visit Sanwang temple , which was set for three sons of Yelang emperor .  

Sanjiang in Guangxi province, a village inhabited by the South Dong, one of the two subgroups of the Dong ethnic minority. A short drive away from Sanjiang will take us to Chenyang, a quaint little village with one of the largest Fengyuqiaos (Wind and rain bridge) in the region. Here we will explore the villages on foot, visiting lively markets and hillside farms.

Day26 Sanjiang - Guilin (B, L)
We will leave for Longsheng , Longji Dragon Backbone Rice Terrace: where the mountains are covered with terraced rice fields, some of them reaching up to 1,000 m (3,300 ft) peaks. In the afternoon, we will arrive Guilin, mett with the guide in Guilin, end of Guizhou portion.

Day 27 Guilin (B, L)
Have a city tour, visit Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill.

Day 28 Yangshuo (B, L)
Transferred by road to Zhujiang Dock, Li River Cruise: 4 hours cruise on Li River to Yangshuo, Chinese lunch en route. Free time on West Street in the afternoon.

Day 29 Yangshuo / Depart (B, L)
In Yangshuo viewing the countryside by cycling, visit Moon Hill , Water Rafting for two hours on Yulong River, an unique experience on bamboo raft, safe journey zigzaging through picturesque rice padding fields and limestone mountains. Back to Guilin airport for return flight in the afternoon.
