We transfer to the most suitable airport for our flight to Guilin. On arrival perhaps take a stroll along the riverfront.
Day 3, LI RIVER CRUISE - YANGSHUO (BL)
Li River Cruise amid amazing karst scenery to Yangshuo. Afternoon Chinese lesson to learn the basics of this fascinating language.
Yangshuo, the natural scenery features unique karst hills, crystal water, exquisite stones and intricate caves as well as a cultural historic heritage and folks of diverse customs. At night, have fun on the West Street, don't drink too much to miss tomorrow's program. Or you can go to watch the envenin
g show - Impression Liu Sanjie. The Cormorant fishing show at night is also something new (optional).
Day 4, YANGSHUO (BL)
A morning excursion into the countryside. Pass through beautiful rural scenes: farmers working away in their fields and lovely old stone buildings.
Day 5, YANGSHUO - XI'AN (BL)

Free morning before a flight to Xi'an
, the ancient capital of China.
Day 6, XI'AN (BL)
A half day tour to a Daoist temple, a Buddhist temple and the magnificent wooden mosque. Free time in the afternoon to explore further on your own.
Day 7, XI'AN - CHONGQING (BL)

A morning visit to the Terracotta Warriors before we fly to Chongqing and board our cruise boat.
The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.
Days 8-9, YANGTSE CRUISE (BLD)
Cruise the Yangtse in air-conditioned comfort. We pass through the spectacular three gorges section and take daily excursions from the boat.
Day 10, YICHANG - SHANGHAI (BLD)
Disembark and visit the impressive dam site. Transfer to Yichang for our flight to Shanghai where we stay at the famous Peace Hotel situated in the heart of The Bund and with an illustrious history. Evening visit to the famous Acrobatic Show.
Day 11, SHANGHAI - BEIJING (BL)

A day tour around Shanghai before we take the overnight express train to Beijing.
Day 12, BEIJING (L)
Arrive in Beijing where we stay at the Beijing Grand Hotel which has stunning views over the Forbidden City, abode of the Emperors. Visit the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven.
Walking across the Golden River Bridge, enter the Forbidden City, the inner sanctum and palace where for centuries Chinese emperors ruled their world. It has 9000-room maze of courtyards, places, and ceremonial halls, where 24 emperors used to live. Forbidden City was indeed a forbidden place, where commoners were kept out for nearly 500 years in the past. Tour the palace and imagine the mystery, intrigue and incredible power that reigned here.
Day 13, BEIJING (BD)
A free morning to follow your own interests. In the afternoon we have a guided tour to the Summer Palace and a visit to the Peking opera.
Day 14, BEIJING (BL)
Day excursion to The Great Wall of China and the Ming Tombs, including the Sacred Way.
The Mutianyu Great Wall of China is the longest structure ever built. It is about 4,000 miles long, and it was built entirely by hand. About 1, 200 - 1, 500 miles of the Great Wall were built during the reign of Emperor Shi Huangdi (Qin Dynasty). The Great Wall crosses northern China from the east coast to the central part of China.
Day 15, BEIJING/Departure (B)
