Day 1 Beijing

Transfer via: by air-own arrangement
Upon arrival at the airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel

Day 2 Beijing (B,L)

Full day tour Forbidden City, Tian An Men Square, Temple of Heaven

Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years, where 24 emperors used to live and ruled their world.

TianAnMen Square: the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, which can hold one million people.

Temple of Heaven: It was built in the 15th century, a sacred site for ancient Beijing, where the emperor,where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.

Day 3 Beijing (B,L)

After breakfast, drive to Beijing Cuisine School. In the cooking school you are arranged to learn cooking three different dishes from beginning to end, getting to know the secrets of excellent Chinese culinary skill. You yourself prepare one dish with the assistance of the experts of the school. It is a hands on learning experience. You enjoy the three dishes as your lunch. During your short stay at the school, you also have the chance to attend the cooking lessons if you are intereted.

After lunch, drive to Jiale Vegetable Market, a community market in the downtown area where local community people come for purchasing vegetable, meats, the many spices and other life necessities that make Chinese cooking special. Then move on to one of the branches of the century-old traditional Daoxiangcun Foodstuffs Store. The store used to produce light snack served to the royal family or governmental officials in the Qing Dynasty. Now it has become one of the local people's must-have snacks of Beijing. Then visit Hutongs by rickshaw.

Day 4 Beijing (B,L,D)

Full day tour to Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tomb (changling), Sacred Way, Having Peking Roast Duck Banquet for dinner

Badaling Great Wall: one best preserved section of the Great Wall. Great Wall is one of the most remarkable feats of mankind, built over 2,000 years ago. You will be able to climb and walk on it, admiring the splendid mountains scenery.

Ming Tomb: The tombs are located about 50 kilometres to the north of Beijing. They are scattered over a basin approximately 40 square kilometres in area, screened by mountains on three sides and open to the Beijing Plain in the south.

Sacred Way: It means "the way of the spirit". The body of the dead was carried over the route at funeral ceremony. It is 7 kilometres long, from the Memorial Arch to the gate of the main tomb.

Peking Roast Duck: With its long history, Peking roast duck is well known among both domestic and overseas customers. The duck is hung in the oven and roasted by flame burning from fruit-wood. It takes about 45 minutes for the duck to be done.

Day 5 Beijing (B)

Transfer to airport for your flight to next destination
