Day 2 (B, L, ) Beijing Full day trip to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Peking Opera Show in the evening.
TianAnMen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, which can hold one million people. Having a free walk there, imagining the great historic events of the 20th century took place there. You will also see legendary landmarks including the Great Hall of the People and the towering 125 foot granite obelisk, Monument to the Peoples Heroes, honoring those who died in revolution.
Walking across the Golden River Bridge, enter the Forbidden City, the inner sanctum and palace where for centuries Chinese emperors ruled their world. It has 9000-room maze of courtyards, places, and ceremonial halls, where 24 emperors used to live. Forbidden City was indeed a forbidden place, where commoners were kept out for nearly 500 years in the past. Tour the palace and imagine the mystery, intrigue and incredible power that reigned here.
Temple of Heaven was built in the 15th century, a sacred site for ancient Beijing, where the emperor and his 1000 member entourage would retreat twice a year for religious ritual. Surrounded by enormous grounds designed in accordance with fengshshui, the Temple complex consists of the Celebrated Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, a unique wooden and blue-tiled structure built without a nail. It is considered the supreme achievement of traditional Chinese architecture.
Day 3 (B, L ) Beijing Drive to Jinshanlin Great wall. Hike from Jinshanlin to Simatai today (12km up and down), drive back to Beijing.
Simatai located at the boundary between Gubeikou Town,130 km away from Beijing, and Luanping County,Hebei Province. The 19-kilometre-long wall of Simatai began its construction in 1368. Architectually, the wall is delicately structured and unique in design. The 35 watchtowers there are original structured and varied in form. The Tower for Viewing the Capital at an elevation of 986 metres above sea level, is constructed on sheer precipices. This part of the great wall is charictorized as astonish,Unusual and Vicious.
Day 4 (B, L, ) Beijing Visit the Hutongs by rickshaw to learn how the local people live & Xiushui Street. Have lunch in one local family.
Hutongs: The old narrow paths where common people lived. All the Hutongs crisscross with each other, dotted with the Kindergarten, the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower, the Tea House, and the lake, House of Gong Infant and local people's houses among them.Hutong is a kind of alleyway peculiar to Beijing. Surrounding the Forbidden City, many of these small windy alleyways were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming(1368-1628) and Qing(1644-1908) dynasties. In the prime of these dynasties the emperors, in order to establish supreme power for themselves, planned the city and arranged the residential areas according to the etiquette systems of the Zhou Dynasty. The typical buildings in Hutong are quadrangles-a compound with houses around a square courtyard.
Xiushui Street: A market near the embassy area where you can find a number of duplicates of clothing in traditional Chinese style such as clothes, caps, gloves. Enjoy bargains with sellers and pleasant surprise of finding a real treasure if you are lucky enough.
Day 5 (B, ) Beijing/ Xi'an Transfer via: Flight-on our arrangement Leisure by yourself in the morning. In the afternoon, have a visit of the Summer Palace then be trasnferred to Xi'an. Arrive at Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel.
The Summer Palace is the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years. With its cool features - water, gardens and hills, it was the palace of choice for vacationing emperors and Dowager Empresses. It was badly damaged by Anglo-French troops during the Second Opium War (1860) and its restoration became a pet project of Empress Dowager Cixi, the last of the Qing dynasty rulers.
Day 6 (B, L,) Xi'an One day city tour with private car or van and guide to the greatest archaeological finding of the century: the army of terra cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb, Hu County and the City Wall in the old city. Enjoy the Shadow Paddy show in the evening.

Day 7 (B, ) Xi'an / Wuhan Transfer via: Be transferred to the airport for your flight to Wuhan. Arriving in Wuhan, be met & transfered to your hotel. Stroll along the Yangtze Bund in Hanyang Town to chat with the local people.
Day 8 (B, L, ) Wuhan / Yichang Half day tour to Guiyuan Monastery, Yellow Crane Tower with lunch(Private vehicle and guide).Be transferred to the bus station for your train to Yichang. Arriving in Yichang, be met & transferred to the pier for your ship which will depart Yichang at 2100.
Guiyuan Monastery: One of the four biggest temples for Buddhist meditation in Hubei as well as an important Buddhist temple in China.
Yellow Crane Tower: One of the "Three Famous Towers in the South of Yangtze River".
Day 9 (B, L, D) Yangtze River Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam site.
Day 10 (B, L, D) Yangtze Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream.
Day 11 (B, L, D) Yangtze Shore excursion to Wanxian or Fengdu or Shibaozhai.
Day 12 (B, L, ) Yangtze / Chongqing Arrives in Chongqing at 0900.Full day tours to Erling Park, People's Hall of Chongqing,Chongqing Zoo,Stiwell Musuem and Ciqikou ancient town; take Yangtze River Cable Car.
Erling Park: Where tourists can take a bird's eye view of the whole city of Chongqing.
People's Congress Hall: It is a giant traditional building with a large square,where plenty of people do morning and evening exercise everyday.
Chongqing Zoo: The Giant pandas & Lesser pandas & Golden hair monkeys & South China Tigers can be seen.
Stiwell Musuem: It is a museum to commemorate General Stiwell during The World War Two.
Ciqikou: It is an old town with traditional Chongqing style buildings,tea houses,and Sichuan Opera houses.
Day 13 (B, L, ) Chongqing / Chengdu Transfer via: Bus(5 hours)-on our arrangement Be transferred to the bus station for your bus to Chengdu. Arriving in Chengdu, be met & transferred to your hotel.
Have a visit of the Sanxindui Ruins. experience the spectacular 3000-year-old cultural relics of ancient Shu Kindom. Then back to Chengdu. Enjoy the unforgettable foot massage in the evening.
In Sanxing Dui which is 40 kilometers south of Chengdu, two large sacrificial pits were found in 1986 boast the most important archaeological finds on the Sanxing Dui Ruins for the past half century.
Day 14 (B, L ) Chengdu / Lhasa Transfer to airport for flight to Lhasa (09h15/11h35), be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure to acclimatize yourself to the high latituder.

Day 15 (B, L ) Lhasa Full day trip to Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhore Street.
The Potala Palace is a landmark of Lhasa and Lama Buddism. It is a 13 storey and 1000 rooms' palace and once winter residence of the Dalai Lama. The construction of the present structure began during the reign of the fifth Dalai Lama in 1645 and took more than 50 years to complete.
The Jokhang Temple is the spiritual centre of Tibet - a destination for millions of Tibetan pilgrims. The oldest part of the temple dates back to the 7th century AD - being one of the two temples built by King Songsten Gampo to house the statues of the Buddha that his two foreign wives brought to Tibet from China and Nepal.
The Barkhor Street is Lhasa's inner pilgrim circuit shaped roughly like an octagon that runs around the Jokhang. The circuit is lined with markets, shops, stalls and street vendors providing every conceivable item a Tibetan could need. The best place to start the circuit is right outside the Jokhang in a clockwise direction.
Day 16 (B, L) Lhasa Full day trip to Drepong Monastery, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka, and the Carpet Factory.
The Drepong Monastery: a cluster of white buildings resembling a riceheap, against the backdrop of Mount Gyenbuwndze. Founded in 1416, Drepong is the biggest and richest monastery in Tibet that was divided into four Tantric colleges - that specialised in different branches of knowledge.
The Sera Monastery lies on the northern edge of Lhasa at the base of Tatipu Hill. 'Sera' means 'merciful hail' denoting its rivalry with the 'Rice Heap' (Drepong) since hail destroys rice. Sera was smaller than Drepong with about 7,000 monks but was very rich and comparable in power.
The Norbulingka Park: Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama at the very beginning and later served as the whole governmental administration.
The Carpet Factory: The highland of Tibet is the actual home of the oriental carpets. By visiting Carpet Factory you will have a general idea of how carpets are produced.
Day 17 (B, ) Lhasa / Chengdu-Guilin Transfer via: Flight-on our arrangement Be transferred to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Then connecting another flight to Guilin. Arriving in Guilin, be met & transferred to your hotel. Free time for the rest of the afternoon. Enjoy evening cruise on Li River and surrounding lakes at night.
Day 18 (B, L, ) Guilin drive to Longsheng, visit Longji Mountain Village, about 2 hours driving on road, stroll around the village. Stay in the mountain village overnight.
Longsheng is famous for the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces: 60square kilometers of terraced rice fields southeast of Longsheng. They were first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty by Zhuang people. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an elevation of 885m and the lowest 380m. The coiling line spirals up from the mountain foot to the top, making the mountain looks like huge snail seen from afar.
After 2.5 hours drive (115KM beautiful mountain road) you will get to the Longji area, Heping Township of Longsheng County. Visit Zhuang and Yao Minority tribes villages and some families if you like. Those ethnic girls dressed in their own colors may have a demonstration on hair combing or singing and dancing upon guests' request and gratuity. Clients will enjoy the beautiful terrace rice fields after getting to the summit of Longji (Dragon's backbone).

Day 19 (B, L,) Guilin Guilin / Yangshuo After the breakfast you take bus to Dock. You will start your Li River Cruise from here. The total Journey is around 30 Kilometers and takes 4 hours. On the way you will see the most beautiful landscapes and pass throw the local villages.
Later this day you will arrive at Yangshuo. You can also choose to stay in the town, stroll around the local market, witness the daily activities of local society. Or you might enjoy a class for Chinese Tachi in Yangshuo at sunset.
Yangshuo, the natural scenery features unique karst hills, crystal water, exquisite stones and intricate caves as well as a cultural historic heritage and folks of diverse customs. At night, have fun on the West Street, don't drink too much to miss tomorrow's program. Or you can go to watch the envening show - Impression Liu Sanjie. The optional ticket is RMB 188 per person. The Cormorant Bird catching fish show at night is also something new (optional).
Day 20 (B, L,) Guilin / Hongkong Transfer via: Flight-on our arrangement From 6:30 to 9:00 am, cycle for 2 hours from Yangshuo to Aishan Village in the early morning, you will arrive at the Licun village and then you continue you bike ride on the trails to Yangshuo. After a hot shower in the hotel, you will be transfer by company vehicle to take bamboo rafting for two hours on Yulong River through limestone mountains and trails.
Later today you will be transferred to Guilin International Airport to catch the flight to Hong Kong.
Day 21 ( B, ) Hongkong Half day city tour to Wong Tai Sin Temple, Kowloon Walled City Park or Jade Market or Poor Residence without lunch(Private vehicle and guide).
Day 22 (B, ) HongKong / Departure Transfer via: Flight-on your arrangement Be transferred to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
