Tour Summary: This is an Indepandent Private City Package. In this 6 days trip, you will travel from Beijing to Yunan to explore the minorities and the breathtaking landscapeity in Yunan Province. You will see the Stone Forest in Kunming, Dali Ancient Town, Xizhou Bai Minority, Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake in Dali, Dayan Ancient Town, Jade Dragon Snow Moutain in Lijiang.

Day 1(L)

Cuihu Park

Cuihu Park

Beijing / Kunming

Transfer via: by air

 Fly to Kunming in the morning. Upon arrival, pick up by our English speaking guide and visit CuihuPark, GoldenTemple, Western Hill and Dragon Gate.

Cuihu Park: covering an area of 210,000 square meters, is located in the northern part of Kunming's city proper. It was made a public park in the early 1910s.

Golden Temple: The name actually refers to the temple's North Pole Hall (Beijidian), which was constructed entirely of cast bronze, including its pillars, beams, roof tiles, arched doors and windows, statues, and incense burners. Weighing a hundred tons altogether, the hall is one of the largest bronze objects existing in China today.

The Western Hill and Dragon Gate: The natural forest park in Kunming. The carvings on the cliff was made in 1751.

 

Day 2 (B,L)

Kunming

Full day tour to Stone Forest.

Stone Forest: It is located in Shilin County, 89 kilometers from Kunming. The area, covering 350 square kilometers, is the highest karst terrain in the world and a national scenic area in China.

 

Day 3 (B,L)

Kunming/Dali

Transfer via: by air

Transfer to airport for your flight to Dali. Upon arrival at the airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel. Tour to Cangshan Mountian and take the Cable Car (round trip) up to the Mountain, then enjoy the Erhai Lake cruise, and visit Dali Ancient Town,

Cangshan Mountian: Its 19 peaks extend 50 kilometers north to south in their column formation like a screen. The peaks, straight and magnificent, are overgrown with primeval forests, and 18 springs and streams filled with crystal-clear waters serpentine among them. Waterfalls and surging rivers emit thunderous roars. Malongfeng, the main peak, shoots up into the sky with it's top clogged with dazzling snow all the year round. "Clouds, Snow, Peaks and Streams" are four spectacular views of Cangshan Mountain.

The ancient Dali town: built in 1382 and is one the 24 most famous historical and cultural cities in China.

 

Day 4 (B,L)

Dali / Lijiang

Transfer via: by van

Visit Xizhou House, Dayan Ancient Town, Lion Hill.

Xizhou House: live Bai minority people. You will see the their typical traditions, dresses there.

Lijiang Dayan Ancient Town: has a history of over 800 years. It is one of the few places in China with well-preserved old style folk buildings.

Lion Hill: Both the hill and the wooden structure called Wangulou provide good views of the OldTown and the surrounding countryside.

 

Day 5 (B,L)

Lijiang

Visit Baisha Murals, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. and take the cable car up at Yak Meadow of the mountain.

Baisha Mural:With the introduction of the Buddhism, people painted plenty of murals on the walls of temples in the Ming Dynasty.

The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: The mountain has 13 peaks of which the highest is 18000 feet above sea level. It is a treasure of wild plants and rare animals.

 

Day 6 (B)

Lijiang

Transfer to airport for your flight to Beijing.
