Beijing Group Tours

Tour Summary: This is a Seat-in-Coach Package. The guide and the driver pick up the passengers at different hotels in the morning then go to visit the major scenic spots such as Great Wall and Ming Tomb together.

Program: Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tombs

Pick-up from your hotel between 07h20am and 08h30, and then drive to Ming Tomes (50 miles away from downtown about one hour driving).

Badaling Great Wall

The thirteen Ming Tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. You will visit Changling, the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. The sightseeing on the Ming Tombs takes about 1 hour. The visit to Ming Tombs finishes at about 10h45.

Before having lunch (11h30), you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of Friend Yongsheng Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.

Having traditional Chinese lunch at Jindian restaurant. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional.

On the way to your hotels, we also arrange a short visit to "the Birds Nest"---the main Olympic Stadium now being built for the 2008 Olympic Games. After that, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts. After the tour, transferred back to your hotels.

Hotel pick-up and drop-off, air-conditioned coach, transportation tax, parking fees, English-speaking guide, lunch, and all admission tickets.

Infants aged 1 year and under are free of charge, providing they sit with an accompanying adult.

Our English speaking tour guide will pick up passengers from different hotels at about 8:00 to 8:30 am in each city, take them to see the most famous attractions, and take them back to different hotels at 17:00 pm in the afternoon. Chinese lunch en route will be included in local Chinese restaurants.
