Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Visit Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City in the afternoon. Watch Beijing Opera at night.

TianAnMen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, which can hold one million people. Having a free walk there, imagining the great historic events of the 20th century took place there. You will also see legendary landmarks including the Great Hall of the People and the towering 125 foot granite obelisk, Monument to the Peoples Heroes, honoring those who died in revolution.

In Chinese the Forbidden City is called Purple Forbidden City. "Purple" doesn't refer to the color of the buildings or walls, but has a mythological origin. It is said that the Emperor of Heaven has his palaces in the region of the North Star, of which purple is the symbolic color.

Peking Opera or Beijing Opera is a synthesis of stylized action, singing, dialogue and mime, acrobatic fighting and dancing to represent a story or depict different characters and their feelings of gladness, anger, sorrow, happiness, surprise, fear and sadness.

Visit ancient district of "Hu Tong" and local family, culture program of learning to make JIAOZI - Chinese Dumpling. Temple of Heaven, pearl market, enjoy Peking Roasted duck at night.

The Temple of Heaven, founded in the first half of the 15th century, is a dignified complex of fine cult buildings set in gardens and surrounded by historic pine woods. In its overall layout and that of its individual buildings, it symbolizes the relationship between earth and heaven, or between the human world and God's world which stands at the heart of Chinese cosmogony, and also the special role played by the emperors within that relationship.

You will be taken by pedicab (a tricycle cab), which was very popular in the old days to visit the Bell and Drum Towers, Prince Gong's Mansion and even to pay a visit to an ordinary Beijing family in the compound houses. You will visit a Chinese family to learn how to make Jiaozi - Chinese Dumplin.

Jiaozi looks like shoe-shaped gold and silver ingots so when people eat it during festivals they really hope it could bring fortune and good luck to them, and this, of course, is their best wishes. Sometimes people will add some sweets, Chinese dates and chestnuts in fillings of some dumplings to express their wishes...

Drive to Jinshanling Great Wall in the morning and hike for 4 hours to Simatai Great Wall.  Transfer to Beijing by road.

The Great Wall at the Jinshanling is located at the boundary between Miyun County, Beijing and Luanping County, Hebei province. It has been a strategic place contested by militarists since ancient times. The 25-kilometer-long Jinshan Ridge section has as many as 150 watchtowers and battlements,terraces and turrets. Architecturally, there are towers of various shapes--square, circular, oblate and cornered, and roofs of different strctures --flat and vaulted.

Simatai is about 180 km and takes two and half hours drive from Beijing to Simaotai. The walk then takes between three and five hours. You can do the whole thing in one long day or go to the start of your walk at the end of the day, have dinner, sleep and get up at sunrise and do the walk. It will certainly be less crowded at that time. Sunrise is beautiful on a clear day and the wall can be amazing in foggy weather.

The Summer Palace with its cool features - water, gardens and hills - was the palace of choice for vacationing emperors and Dowager Empresses. It was badly damaged by Anglo-French troops during the Second Opium War (1860) and its restoration became a pet project of Empress Dowager Cixi, the last of the Qing dynasty rulers.

It is a renowned lama (Lhama) temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism, is situated in the northeast part of Beijing city. Lama Temple, or Yanghegong, has a long and varied history. It was originally built in 1694 and originally used as official residence for court eunuchs of the Ming dynasty and was converted to the royal court of Prince Yongzheng(Yin Zhen) a son of Emperor Kang Xi of the Qing Dynasty.

Visit Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Bell Tower and Big Wild Goose Pagoda

Today will be your highlights in Xian. The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the20th century. It has been regarded as THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD! Over 2,200 years ago, the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang in search of immortality, ordered the construction of a vast army of 8,000 life-sized Terra Cotta warriors and buried with him to protect his empire after his early death. They were discovered accidentally in 1974 by farmers digging a well. For history lovers, the sight is truly breathtaking.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Bell Tower which is the most well-preserved and best-known one among many ancient cities of China. The Bell Tower was originally built in the Yingxiang Temple in 1384, at the intersection of West Street and Guangji Street.

Visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Old City Wall, Muslim Quarter.Transfer to Kunming by afternoon flight. Be met & transferred to your hotel.

Have city tours to visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, which is the largest comprehensive museum in the province. It is also the fist national level grand museum equipped with modern facilities. It exhibits primarily historical relics of past dynasties and displays precious art treasures and stone carvings of the Han and Tang dynasties. Walking through the exhibits in the museum is like walking through the 3000 years of China history.

Visit the Old City Wall. It is the most complete city wall survived in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. The wall was built in the Tang dynasty (618 -907) and enlarged in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644).

Upon arrival at Kunming, be met & transferred to your hotel in Stone Forest, about 90 km from Downtown Kunming, enjoy the beautiful surroundings while the crowd of visitors do not disturb you. The night of Stone forest is so unique, which you can not find in other place of the world.

Stone Forest, Kunming Stone Forest is located in Shilin County, 89 kilometers from Kunming. The area, covering 350 square kilometers, is the highest karst terrain in the world and a national scenic area in China.

Three Pagodas:are located northwest of Dali at the foot Cangshan Mountains. With Qianxun Pagoda, completed in 876 during the Tang dynasty (618-907AD).

Morning visit of a small Catholic church in old town of Dali, drive to Xizhou Morning Market & the typical living house of Bai Minority. enjoy the tea ceremony of Bai Ethnic, take as more pictures of the colorful costumes of Bai Ethics, listening to their stories... Drive to Lijiang after lunch.

The Lijiang ancient town of Dayan: The town was built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997.

Full day visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Yak Meadow, the old house of Joseph Rock, who stayed in Lijiang for 27 years from 1922 to 1949.   

The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: The mountain has 13 peaks of which the highest is 18000 feet above sea level. It is a treasure of wild plants and rare animals.

Morning Drive to Zhongdian and stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge, Baishuitai.

Zhongdian
Full day visit of Bita Lake, Songtseling Lamasery Temple and a Tibetan Family.

Bitahai Nature Reserve, located 35 kilometers east of the county seat of Zhongdian, it is an intact natural attraction with outstanding flora and fauna and picturesque landscapes.

Flight to Kunming MU 5948 0925/1010. Visit Stone Forest visa Yi Minority Village on the way.

Stone Forest: 90km south of Kunming. Due to a process of weathering and erosion, nature has reated an art gallery of stone sculpture here.

Kunming / Longji
Transfer to Guilin by flight CA4533 (0755/0920) and drive to Longsheng, visit Longji Mountain Village, about 2 hours driving on road, stroll around the village.

Visit Longji Dragon Backbone Rice Terrace. Stay in the mountain village overnight.

Day 15 (B, L, )
Longji / Guilin
Drive to Guilin, visit Reed Flute Cave and Jingjiang Prince Palace. Enjoy the evening cruise through Li River, Fir lake, Banyan Lake and Peach River, which was part of the ancient moat surrounding Guilin.

Day 16 (B, L, )
Guilin / Yangshuo
After having the breakfast be driven to the Zhujiang dock from where you will begin your cruise tour. The journey is around 40 kilometers and will take 4 hours. Passing the local villages, rice fields, local style houses, you will embrace the most beautiful landscapes that will make you to understand the true life of the local farmers. Chinese lunch will be served en route.

At about 14:30, you will arrive Yangshuo, cycle for 1 hour from Yangshuo to Chaoyang village, there you carry your bike to bamboo raft for one hour rafting on Yulong River, through limestone mountains and streams to a beautiful hostel where you will stay for tonight.

Day 17 (B, L, )
Yanghuo / Hong Kong
Cycle to Licun and Aishan village through local trails to Yangshuo. Own arrangement for the rest of afternoon. You can swim in the Li River, walk around the local fruit and vegetable market, or sipping your beer on West Street, watching colorful local activities.  Transfer to Guilin airport for evening flight to Hong Kong.

Visit Victoria Peak, Aberdeen, Repulse Bay.  Later today you will be transferred to airport for return flight.

Victoria Peak: The Peak is Hong kong's number one tourist destination. It features the city's of oldest mode transport, the 112-year old Peak Tram and Hong Kong's most unusual building and icon, The Peak Tower. It combine shoppings, restaurants, and entertainment.

Aberdeen: Aberdeen Harbour is home of hundreds of people living on fishing junks. Take sampan ride to get a close-up look at this unusual way of life.

Repulse Bay
Primarily an exclusive residential area, Repulse Bay has a relaxed, resort-like atmosphere. The wide beach is popular with residents and great for sandy strolls. It features statues of Kwun Yum and Tin Hau, both protectors of fishermen.
