Day 1 Arrival / Lijiang
Transfer via: by air-own arrangement
Arrive at Lijiang airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and transfer to hotel.

The Lijiang ancient town of Dayan: The town was built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997. 

Day 2 Lijiang (B, L)
Visit the old town of Lijiang (Dayan Ancient Town) escorted tour to Square Street, Mu Prince Palace and Lion Hill.

Prince Palace: combines the styles of Naxi, Bai, Tibetan and Han architecture. The exquisite carves and paintings on the doors and windows and meticulously designed structures all indicate their status in Lijiang.

Lion Hill: Both the hill and the wooden structure called Wangulou provide good views of the Old Town and the surrounding countryside. 

Day 3 Lijiang / Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge  (B, L, D)
In the early morning, drive to Qiaotou Town, it takes 2 hours on the trip.  Your hiking trip starts from here, the 28 zigzaging turns will be a real text.   The total trekking route is 28 km, and it takes about 6-8 hours. You will arrive at Half-way guest house to finish today's trekking.

While you are walking in the gorge, our support team will take all of your luggaes to meet you at Tina's Inn, so you only need to carry two bottles of water, chocalate and camera on the trip. 

The Tiger Leaping Gorge: one of the world's four great gorges - is located in Hutiaoxia Town in Zhongdian County,is honored as one of the deepest and most marvelous gorges on the globe.

Day 4 Tiger Leaping Gorge   (B, L, D)
In the early morning, continue hiliking to Tina's Inn, after lunch break, 1 hour walking down the steep cliff to the bank of Jinsha River, worship the dangerours shoal of "Starriness", it is the most narrow part of the gorge, where a tiger can easily jump over the Jinsha River.

1 more hour to climb up the gorge, stay overnight in Tina Inn.

Day 5 Tiger Leaping Gorge / Haba Village  (B, L)
We will leave the guest house after breakfast and walk to Haba Village, where we will spend the night. After arrival, we will take a gentle walk along hills around the village, from which you can get a spectacular view of the surrounding snow peaks.

Day 6 Haba Village / Zhongdian  (B, L)
Today we drive to Zhongdian, after arrival we will visit Songzanlin Monastery and Tibetan Family visit.

Songzanlin Monastery, or 'Little Potala' as it is affectionately known, is a spiritual place that invites you to discover the mystery and traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Since the 5th Dalai Lama chose the site through divination in 1679, the monastery has grown into the most important community of its kind in Yunnan.

Zhongdian, a small town on the Tibetan Plateau. At 3,300 m (10,000 ft) above sea level (only 400m lower in altitude than Lhasa) the climate here is cool year round. As we coast along we'll enjoy beautiful mountain scenery and Yi and Tibetan villages, like as we ascend the Gyalthang plateau.
