D1 Guiyang-Liuzhi
You will be met and welcomed by your guide in Guiyang airport (Early flight). Guizhou is nicknamed 'The Kingdom of Mountains', as 87% of its land is comprised of mountains and plateaus. Today's program highlights the remaining culture of the old Han (Chinese) ethnic group. The ancestors of these villagers migrated from Jiangxi Province to Guizhou Province in the Ming Dynasty. We will drive for 1.5 hours to reach Liuguan village. Women here are still dressed in traditional Ming dynasty costumes, and houses remain faithful to the Ming architectural styles. The ancient stone house, lots of legend story, warm-hearted people, and their lovely smile will leave you an unforgettable experience. We will watch a local Ground Opera performance, famed for the performers' symbolic masks, the opera in Jichang dates to 1382, during the Ming Dynasty. It is said as one of the oldest operas of the world, which is still surviving. Later we will drive westward to Liuzhi. (LD)

D2 Liuzhi-Guiyang
We drive through a vista of terraced fields to Suoga, famous for the Long Horned Miao. This group still grows some hemp which they traditionally use to make their clothes. Today they buy in cotton to make their long pleated skirts and jackets (local villagers here may ask for money if you photograph them). We also plan to stop off to see Miao nick-named Four Seal Miao, as they once served the Emperor and it is said that the seal was awarded to them by the Emperor. We will arrive at Guiyang in late afternoon. (BLD)

D3 Guiyang-Kaili
We will leave Guiyang to explore villages around Xiaba, we'll spend the morning hiking through the Damochong Valley, an area of quaint villages, dense bamboo groves, and clear streams. We'll stop along the way and learn about the art of traditional paper-making. After our picnic lunch at a nice view spot, we continue to hike for 3 hours through this area of quaint mountain villages and reach Yandi White Miao village, pay a visit to the local family and chat with the people. This afternoon we will drive 3 hours along the scenic mountain roads to Kaili. (BLD)

D4 Kaili-Xijiang
A short drive from Kaili along the Bala River will take us to Jiaogao village, from here you can hike (please take sandals with you) 1.5-2 hours along the crystal clear stream to Wugao Miao village which was inhabited by Long-skirt Miao people. Late on we drive to Xijiang, the biggest Miao village in China, wooden dwellings were built from the foot to the top of the hill. After watching a performance giving by the local people in the evening, we climb up to the mountain top to appreciate the beautiful night view of Xijiang. (BLD)

Day5 Xijiang—Guiyang
We wake up to see the peaceful rural life in Xijiang. This morning is open for you to explore Xijiang .Then we will drive 3 hours to Guiyang airport and catch your connecting flight back home, trip ends. (BL)
