| Day 7 Kunming, Dali ( B,L ) |
| Drive 4 hours to Dali in the morning. Escorted tours in old town of Dali and nearby areas. Stay overnight in the old town, the hotel is a Bai Ethnic Style civilian house. |
| Zhonghe Temple | The temple is a long, steep hike up the mountainside behind Dali. This is a great day trip and offers fantastic vistas of Dali and Erhai Lake. | Drive 3 hours to Lijiang, visit Xizhou Village on the route. Arrive Lijiang in the afternoon, Lijiang Ancient Town is one of the few places in China with well-preserved old style folk buildings. We'd walk around Square Street, visit Mu Prince Palace. |

| In the early morning, drive to Yak Meadow where you can take a cable car to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Trek on the summit of the Yak Meadow for about 1 hour. In the afternoon, visit Yuhu Village, where Dr. Joseph Rock lived between 1922 and 1949, He was the world's leading expert on Naxi culture and local botany.
