Day 1  To Shanghai Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement Arrive in Shanghai, be met and transferred from hotel with private car by English speaking guide to your hotel.
Day 2(B, L, ) Shanghai Visit The Bund, Temple to the city Gods, Shanghai Museum.
The Bund: This spot in the city is home to a myriad of European-styled buildings that face the Huangpu River. Home to chic restaurants and shopping opportunities, the Bund is a must-see site when visiting Shanghai. Architect ural styles include gothic, baroque, Romanesque, and renaissance.
Temple to the city Gods: it is a busy market today, specializing in traditional arts and crafts. Outside, however, it still looks like a temple.
Shanghai Museum: The biggest museum in China, with a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics. The museumis especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.
Day 3 (B,L) Shanghai / Guilin Transfer via: Flight TBA on our arrangement. Visit Oriental TV Tower, Pudong, Nanjing Road before be transferred to the airport in time for your flight and fly to Guilin. When arriving at Guilin you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Oriental TV Tower: Standing by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high, Orental Pearl TV Tower is the highest TV Tower in Asia.
Pudong: Situated in the east of the Huangpu River, the southwest of the mouth of the Yangtze River, and adjacent to the urban districts of Shanghai, including the former country of Chuansha and former Sanlin village of Minhang district, Pudong New Area covers 523 square kilometers with a population of more than 1.4 million. It consists of 4 key areas: the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone, the Jinqiao Export Processing Zone, the Waigaoqiao Bonded Zone, and the Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park Zone. Pudong New Area has become a new hot spot for investment in China.
Nanjing Road: Nanjing Road is Shanghai's main shopping street.
Day 4 (B,L) Guilin / Yangshuo After the breakfast you take bus to Dock. You will start your Li River Cruise from here. The total Journey is around 30 Kilometers and takes 4 hours. On the way you will see the most beautiful landscapes and pass throw the local villages.
Later this day you will arrive at Yangshuo. You can also choose to stay in the town, stroll around the local market, witness the daily activities of local society.
Yangshuo, the natural scenery features unique karst hills, crystal water, exquisite stones and intricate caves as well as a cultural historic heritage and folks of diverse customs. At night, have fun on the West Street, don't drink too much to miss tomorrow's program. Or you can go to watch the envening show - Impression Liu Sanjie. The optional ticket is RMB 188 per person.
Day 5(B, L) Yangshuo From 6:30 to 9:00 am, cycle for 2 hours from Yangshuo to Aishan Village in the early morning, you will arrive at the Licun village and then you continue you bike ride on the trails to Yangshuo. After a hot shower in the hotel, you will be transfer by company vehicle to take bamboo rafting for two hours on Yulong River through limestone mountains and trails.
In the afternoon, enjoy a class for Chinese Tachi in Yangshuo at sunset.
The Cormorant Bird catching fish show at night is also something new (optional).
Day 6 (B,L) Guilin / Chongqing Transfer via: Flight TBA on our arrangement You will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight and fly to Chongqing after breakfast. On arrival, be met and transferred to visit Chongqing People's Congress Hall , Goose Neck Park, Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo, Stiwell museum.
Chongqing People's Congress Hall : It is a giant traditional building with a large square,where plenty of people do morning and evening exercise everyday.
Goose Neck Park: Where tourists can take a bird's eye view of the whole city of Chongqing.
Panda House in Chongqing Zoo: Where you can see Giant pandas.
Stiwell museum : It is a museum to commemorate General Stiwell who was chief commander of US forces in the China-Burma-India Theatre during World War II.
Day 7 (B,L,D) Yangtze Cruise Departs Chongqing at 0900. Shore excursion to Fengdu.
Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.
Day 8 (B,L,D) Yangtze Cruise Shore excursion to Shennong Stream(1000-1330).
Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations.
Day 9 (B, L) Yangtze To Yichang Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam site(0800-1000). Arrives in Yichang at 1300 after your lunch onbaord.
Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Since Sep 1st, 2005, the first 1000 tourists each day get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.
Day 10 (B,L) Wuhan To Xian Transfer via: Flight TBA Visit Hubei Provincial Museum, The Guiyuan Buddist Temple, The Yellow Crane Tower, Donghu.
You will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight and fly to Xian.
Hubei Provincial Museum: The museum was built in 1953. In the museum the most precious collection is a complete set of 65 ritual bells of different sizes,which were made in the Chunqiu & Zhanguo dynasties(more than 2200 yeaers ago).Enjoy the amazing ritual bells concert.
The Guiyuan Buddist Temple: One of the four biggest temples for Buddhist meditation in Hubei as well as an important Buddhist temple in China.
The Yellow Crane Tower: One of the "Three Famous Towers in the South of Yangtze River".
Donghu: It locates to the east outskirt of Wuchang.Now it is the national grade scenic area and is composed of five lakes forming a natural spot.
Day 11 (B,L) Xian Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Hot Spring and the Wild Goose Pagoda.
The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.
Huaqing hot Spring: Located in Lintong county of Xi'an city,the Huaqing Hot Spring once called Huaqing Palace in Tang dynasty.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India.
Day 12 (B,L) Xian Have city tours to the Provincial Museum and the Ancient City Wall.
Day 13 (B) Xian / Beijing Transfer via: Flight TBA on our arrangement You will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight and fly to Beijing. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Recommend to walk around TianAnMen Square and Wangfujing Street, a close touch to Chinese people.
Beijing is a reflection of China itself, steeped in history from the very ancient to more modern events. This tour starts at Tian'anmen Square and China's more recent history influenced by Chairman Mao and the rise of communism.
Day 14 (B,L) Beijing One day SIC tour: Go to visit the Great Wall Tour and Ming Tomb.
We've combined two of our most popular destinations north of Beijing into one unforgettable tour.
First we drive to the Great Wall, the very symbol of ancient Chinese engineering. The Badaling section is a prime, preserved example of this colossal structure, and you will have the opportunity to climb up either the North or South Face of the Wall.
From here it is on to the sacred Ming Tombs, burial grounds to 13 of the 16 Ming emperors. You'll explore the largest of the excavated burial sites, the Changling Tomb, which is divided into three separate, impressive courtyards.
Day 15 (B,L) Beijing Historic Beijing Program A: Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven.
From there it's on to the Forbidden City, originally commissioned by Emperor Yong Le in the Ming Dynasty. It has been the seat of power for centuries and has seen countless battles and reconstruction, and the architecture seen today dates from the 1700's. The Forbidden City is also known as the Imperial Palace Museum, with all the art and splendor available for you to see.
After a delicious lunch, it's on to the Temple of Heaven. Temple of Heaven is China's largest temple and altar complex, an extraordinary example of religious architecture dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Your final destination has been the retreat of emperors for 800 years, the Summer Palace. One of Beijing's finest parks surrounds the palace, and you explore the grounds, the temples and the world's longest art gallery.
Day 16 (B,L) Beijing Historic Beijing Program b-One day SIC tour:Summer Palace, Lama Temple & Panda Garden.
Tour B of Historical Beijing begins at the Yonghe Lamasery and one of the best examples of the region's many sacred temples. Lama Temple reveals diverse architectural styles from Han, Mongolia, Manchuria and Tibet, and the impressive 60-foot Maitreya Buddha, carved form a single sandalwood tree. Then it's on to one of the highpoints of anyone visiting Beijing, a trip to the zoo to see the frolicking Giant Panda, a living Chinese treasure.
After a stop for lunch, you'll then visit the emperor's retreat, the historic Summer Palace. Used for eight centuries, the Empress Dowager Cixi had the estate renovated in the 19th century, including the manmade lake we see today. Besides touring the ornate palace, you'll stroll through one of Beijing's favorite parks. During the day, we will also go on a shopping excursion to the White Peacock Silk Carpet Factory.
Day 17 (B) Beijing Free time in the morning. In the afternoon, take a Hutong tour. Free time at Bar Street near Houhai Lake at night.
Hutong's: The old narrow paths where common people lived. All the Hutong's crisscross with each other, dotted with a Kindergarten, a Bell Tower, a Drum Tower, a Tea House, and a lake, House of Gong Infant and local people's houses scattered among them.
Bar Street near Houhai Lake (Shichahai Lake): Probably the most popular spot for Beijing's evening life, where there is live music as well on the weekends, and an even denser, smokier crowd of ex-pats and locals. This place seems to be the place for singles to meet each other, play darts, and shout at one another above the music. We had a good martini at the Minders, though they used black olives rather than green ones -- but, hey, at this point of the evening, who cares?
Day 18 (B) Beijing / Departure Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement. You will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight and fly to Departure City
